Techniques

I build my own photo frames to compliment my photography. They are constructed from reclaimed wood, modern wood, and when I am lucky, i use weathered wood from the coastal shores, If you have discovered ART SEA LOVE at your local Art Festival, then you have experienced my custom handmade frames,  They will be offered online as a LIMITED ADDITION. .

career highlights

Walking into my first photography class at Crealde School of Arts.  Seeing my photos from my first roll of film.

Selling some of my most prized camera gear to finance a mission trip to the Philippines.

My mom's encouragement and support to follow my heart and grow as a photographer.

Staff Photographer for a local/national Surf Magazine.

Experiencing the sense of pride to have my first two-page spread in a regional surf magazine,  

Chasing the waves as a surf photographer that I had hoped for was not in the cards for me, but instead realized I was perfect for branding and working with models in the surf culture lifestyle. I have to say I kicked butt and developed a signature style.

Became a destination wedding photographer for 8 years full time. 

It was pointed out to me that I should show and display my personal work in local stores and art festivals. 

Over 500 weddings later and 5 years of art shows, I discovered that I feel very lucky to get maybe ONE photo a year that might be worthy for the marketplace.  I'm still working on number TWO!
